IES Anselmo Lorenzo, located at Avenida Abogados de Atocha, 20, is a public school in the town. Arcópoli held a talk at the school, in partnership with the Ayuntamiento de San Martín de la Vega, on lesbian visibility in January 2018. As a result of the presentation, the school ended up on a list run by Mis Hijos Mi Decisión, an organization that objects to the “indoctrination of children” in terms of moral education.
