Autol is a municipality with a population of around 5,000, making it one of the larger towns in the region.  It sits at the foot of Peña Isasa with the Río Cidacos flowing through the town.  The town’s primary economic activity is agriculture, including asparagus and grapes.

History

xaffair.net is a relationship site for people looking to cheat founded in 2019 that includes a section for gays and lesbians. The site has a history of putting up fake profiles which message people, with the goal of encouraging people to buy their premium service. It is unclear how often this happens in Spain or with lesbian members. There was only one lesbian listed as seeking partners from Autol in May 2022, and that was a 25-year-old.
